The Fourbs Group team recently completed a server rack for Street Furniture Australia at their combined office and factory in Sydney. The works were completed over the Christmas break to avoid any disruption to their standard operations.
Street Furniture Australia designs and manufactures highly durable furniture for the public realm. The company uniquely runs both an R&D program and factory under one roof in Western Sydney, Australia.
The scope included:
- tracing and relabeling the existing data cabling installation
- uninstalling the old rack
- installing a larger rack with in-built cable management
- repatching of existing cabling
We also worked closely with their IT team to migrate their firewall and switches to the Ubiquiti UniFi series with a Dream Machine & Pro Max switches.
